Tracey's Profile

With more than 20 years’ experience in the field of personal development, and a member of the International Coach Federation, Tracey Turmel qualified in 2002 as an executive coach with Neil and Vicki Espin from CECO and the Coaching Academy, Europe’s leading executive coach training organisation. Since qualifying, Tracey has worked with a wide range of clients in both Jersey and Guernsey, including Mourant, Education, CI Traders (Hospitality Division), Jersey Post Logistics, Pentagon, Webreality, the Room Hair Salon, Pinewood Nursing Home and others. She has particular expertise in coaching senior managers in addressing challenges that affect performance, such as communication skills, confidence, new promotion/change of role, inter-personal relationships etc.

Educated to Degree level, Tracey is also a qualified Business Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a member of the Association of Neuro Linguistic Practitioners. She has trained with the renowned Shelle Rose Chervet, in the connection between language and motivation, and Sue Knight, who pioneered the use of NLP in Business.

She has also undergone specific training in order to deal with outplacement, and offers career coaching where necessary, working in a discrete, empathetic, yet challenging way, to enable employees to re-evaluate their situation and maximise their options for the future.

An experienced presenter, Tracey has spoken to a wide range of audiences about the impact of coaching, including listeners to BBC Radio Jersey, Jersey Junior Chamber and the 745/ 746 Breakfast Club, which she co-organises. She also runs coaching workshops to raise self-awareness and improve work-life balance.

A keen writer, her articles have appeared in publications such as The Jersey Evening Post and the Channel Islands’ current affairs magazines “24/7” and “9 x 5”.

Tracey has been interviewed on Channel TV regarding coaching, and was recently involved in the Channel TV series, "Life Makeover" as the consultant coach.
